Hey hey!
What a top day! Work was a breeze; came up with some proof-of-concept data analysis that the boss really liked & wants to see more of, had a two-and-a-half hour farewell lunch at Sammys in Civic, and picked up Robbie Williams' Swing When You're Winning and Garbage's Beautiful afterward.
Musically, the day started well with ABC Classic FM playing John Williams Star Wars suite which was basically the whole score for ANH. Mid-morning I switched over to the youth network just in time to hear that Jamiroquai are going to be on The J Files tonight! Post-lunch I finished off the workday with crooning Robbie and seductive Shirley.
D finally got in touch with the property manager; looks like I'm ok to stay here, but whoever moves in has to be 'approved' (I guess they just have to fill in an application like normal applying-for-properties procedures), so that's a relief; now to find someone appropriate...
