Rules of the road? Where is privacy going?

What's public and what's private now? In this media-saturated age do the old rules apply? Should what happens on tour stay on tour? Are we all just content now? A few things I've come across this week are fitting links for discussion. So far this week ...

Some Australian viewers have seen the potential break-up of a relationship on Big Brother because some of the housemates have taken the lyric "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with" to heart.

Regarding the web, do you mind what big companies do with your info? This week the W3C released some new privacy standards, but are they any good? Some argue not.

What about other mediums? Do you mind if an e-mail is forwarded? Is your policy circumstantial? What about person-to-person chat sessions?
