Thursday Night - The Return of Ross
Ross arrived back in town a day earlier than I expected, and we caught up over some drinks and pizza down at the pub. He'd driven down from Brisbane , stopping overnight in Dubbo, with Ian the Playwrite who'd come along to share the driving and have a look around the nations capital for a few days.
We talked over what old things & places had disappeared (RIP Gypsy Bar) and what was new, where the old gang was now & what they were doing and talking over what things are like at work at the moment (he's coming to work in the same Branch as me).
We finished off the night somewhere around midnight after playing a few games of pool (Qld rules of course) at the Kingo. It's good to have him back in town.
