Words, words, words
A few things have caught my eye recently; one is a project I hope comes to Canberra, the other was founded here.
The Free Words Project gives away words, lots of them. Apparently there are distributors here in Australia, although I didn't see Canberra mentioned and I haven't seen any of the signature pink stickers around.
Smiling Politely should interest some Bloggers-come-fiction-writers; they run short story competitions for the short-attention-span afflicted. All of the stories submitted to current competition have to be under 1500 words - a good length if you just need something to fill your time during lunch or on a short bus ride.
