Infamy at Number 2

G'day to everyone coming through from The JohnboyCLUB. If you 're interested in street art, various online crap and other people's celebrations then I have something for you. If not, make a mental note that this is little more than online notebook/journal and as such just as narcissistic as 99% of blogs and move along.

Johnboy - Thanks for the traffic. Don't you think 'infamous' is a bit much though? Technorati only reports 21 links from 12 blogs; your sense of proportion might need patching. That reminds me... I noticed in your letter to Crikey yesterday that you linked to RA and didn't plug The CommentonRSSfeeds Concatenate. How's that going? Swimming in subscription dollars yet? Ready to take on Crikey yet? Hope you weren't too disappointed when Margaret Simons didn't mention either of your cubby houses in her Fear and loathing in the Australian blogosphere piece today.

I hope your undies are now untwisted and that you're feeling better having vented and I look forward to your next piece of original content.

I mentioned it elsewhere, and I'll repeat it here - The Riot Act is the most BORING site on the Internet! John Barnes ©

That should be John Barnes . (without the question mark).

With your history with the RA gang, boring was the last word I expected you to use John.

One question John - why'd you create four alternate online personas to back up your - I have to say rather bizarre - post? You didn't seriously expect anyone to believe that four individuals would make their first & only post parroting your post did you?

Hmmmmm.....obviously your "blog" is even MORE boring than The Riot Act, you hypocrite.

Seriously, that's the best you could come up with?

Sorry, is this John or one of the others in John's head?

I am continually amazed, with the millions of Blogs now on the internet, that people feel a need to deride the thoughts and musings of others. If you find a blog boring then don't read it. Find something better to do. Those of us that know Dean actually do enjoy reading his take on social events that we have shared. The techno stuff i can take or leave but that just means i don't read it. John, if you are unhappy with the quality of blogs then perhaps you should aspire to write something thoughtful, witty or entertaining yourself. A bit of a stretch given what i have read of yours so far.

I think Tbone has pretty much hit the nail on the head. Don't like a blog - ignore it.

Dno rocks, he is a rock star to me, I like read his web page much.

Riot Act, on the other hand, is simply a bunch of Half witted 20 something boys who haven’t the courage, intelligence, initiative or talent to actually make something of their lives or contribute to our society in any meaningful way except to sit at home (probably still living with their parents) and bitch, moan and offer snide unconsidered, uninformed and unintelligent comments about those people in our society who are actually trying to make a contribution.

They are a joke. They think they are the next Crikey. Crikey has talent. Crikey has integrity. Crikey can be trusted. Crikey has inside sources and in-depth knowledge of Australian media, politics, business and society.

Riot Act has nothing. It is a farce.

Mmm, I always thought RiotACT attempts to be serious, but then sully their own names by posts such as the one on local bloggers or any references to the "greatness" of TSSH. It only pushes their attempts to be serious far into the realm of amateurish.
