Click, Flash, Flashmobbery

[] So Canberra's attempt at a flashmob was supposed to go down on Saturday & I'm guessing it was meant to happen in Civic shortly after 11.30am. Anyone see anything? Did it rock your world?

UPDATE:

CanMob #1 Roundup 11.04.2005 16:48:35

Zombies loose in the Canberra Centre attack patrons!

Many onlookers, most stunned with fright, witnessed shambling undead wandering the usually peaceful retail haven for a whole minute, from midday.

First it started with a lone sombrero wearing individual who sat quietly near the large metal cushion in the Canberra walk.

About 16 random people approached this mysterious lady and asked for her autograph, everyone from a small child to skaters.

The sombrero-clad lady was then seen somewhere in the vicinity of the top of the escalators leading down into the food court, on the ground floor of the Canberra Centre.

Upon screaming, zombies appeared briefly, moaning and plodding about the area and disappeared just as swiftly. We are safe once again, until next time.

And on the subject of things involving flashes, something for you to ponder & discuss: does Canberra have a soul & if so, how would you go about capturing its image? Do you care? Would $1000 cash money make you care more?

canberra's soul would look like an old, sinister, no-good lawyer/politician in an expensive business suit.
