iBurst Coverage Expands
[Tech] For those of us who seemingly can't get ADSL or cable here in the capital, broadband is another step closer. According to WP and The RiotACT, the iBurst transmitter up on Black Mountain Tower is now operational.
Now I just have to decide whether I want to wait & see what the verdict is going to be on my ADSL application (currently 'held' according to Internode) and potentially have a service capable of decent gaming, or give up and go wireless and forget about gaming.

I should've posted this note last weekend, but better late than never...
Internode came through with ADSL last Friday, so last Saturday I hit the nerd markets for an ADSL modem. First download? The Battlefield 2 demo, which resulted in the purchase of the full version during the week, and more memory and a new video card today :).
Broadband is joy. Too much Battlefield 2 gives you weird dreams.
VERITEL IBURST ISP REALLY SUCK!!!!
