Glimpse of Madness

INT. TAXI DAY

It is a warm sunny Saturday afternoon. DEAN sits in the front passenger seat. His gaze wanders inside & outside of the taxi. He notices that all of the displays (the instrument panel, the radio and the booking computer) are covered with cardboard with the exception of one small square cut out over the speed indicator.

The TAXI DRIVER drives watching the road and does not attempt to start a conversation.

INSERT - COVERED DISPLAYS

DEAN
(uncertain)
Uh... why are all the displays covered up?

TAXI DRIVER
...

Dean looks across at the taxi driver & notices his very thick glasses.

DEAN
(joking, but starting to get concerned)
You don't like the electronic displays? Prefer the old ones?

TAXI DRIVER
(irritated)
Yes, yes - new ones all buggy.

DEAN
... All buggy?

TAXI DRIVER
(wide-eyed, tapping on his forehead angrily)
Yes, yes! The bugs, the bugs, they get in through your eeeyyyyyeeeesssss!

There's the start of a very freaky movie script in that post.

Yep. It'd be funny if it weren't so freaky.
