So... do you like... stuff?

"The Simpsons used to elicit genuine laughs up until the end of season 9. Now referencing it for the wrong reasons - like, say, for pick-up lines - just consigns a person to the dark ages. Refrain."
- Yvonne Tran.

So what mighty tome of pop culture do people reference now? Futurama's a bit too niche and Family Guy is too much a stream of conciousness to be quotable. When YouTube etc are grabbing short attention spans at the expense of TV, where're the hipsters to find their common witty lingo?

Hey Dean - honestly, I don't think cartoons elicit the same kind of jokes which pop culture pundits can use, though if I had to pick one, I'd pick Family Guy. Some might consider the show too crass and low-brow though :/
