Stand Up!
Live(ish) stand-up comedy is back on the ABC! Stand Up! airs 10pm on Wednesday nights & it's a lot like The Big Gig (for those of you old enough to remember it). There's a couple of stages, a live studio audience and a host that walks amongst them (like Wendy Harmer used to, but bigger & blonder). But the musical acts are no more and it looks like there'll be a cast of whichever comics are available when they tape the show, rather than the regulars and their characters like the Big Gig had (Glynn Nicholas' Pate "and here's a picture" Biscuits and Jean Kitson's Candida were my faves).
