[Superior Opinion] for the [Inferior Group]
I just can't get comfortable with reality tv shows, well, at least a subset of them. I need someone to explain to me how it all works in the background. It began with Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, and soon there'll be Black Eye for the White Guy and the parody Straight Plan for the Gay Man. But what about Queer Eye for the Budget-Conscious Guy? How can those guys afford it all? Does the production company pay for all that stuff or is it all funded by product placement? Why should anyone listen to these people? How does one get a job as an expert on one of these shows? I don't remember ever seeing their resumes, do you?
