The Ladykillers
[Film] If you're considering going to see The Ladykillers because you liked what the Coen brothers did with O Brother, Where Art Thou?, stop and choose something else. If you're a Coen brothers and/or Tom Hanks fan you'll see it anyway*, but if you've only got a passing interest better to wait for rental for this one. Hanks and Irma P. Hall are 90% of this film that's otherwise pretty weak.
I should've stuck to the original plan of seeing one of The Blues films in town...
* - Canberra-folk note: If you do head to the cinema to see this one, avoid Greater Union Manuka's Cinema 1; there was some construction or maintenance of some sort going on there & the sounds of angle-grinding were coming through the walls into the cinema.

Coen Brothers = Might see it
Tom Hanks = Wouldn't touch it with a 60ft Barge pole.
Tom Hanks wins, so it doesn't get a guernsey from me.
