Singstar 80s has landed
Picked up Singstar 80s this afternoon and rocked out with Annachop, Brendotron and E tonight. T-bone & Cheese made a quick special guest appearance after Cheese busted her vocal cords down in The Burrow belting out the hits.
The full track list contains:
Alice Cooper - Poison Yeah!
Belinda Carlisle - Heaven Is A Place On Earth
Billy Joel - Uptown Girl Fun
Blondie - Atomic Hopefully they'll get Rapture on a future disc
Culture Club - Karma Chameleon
Dexy's Midnight Runners - Come On Eileen Not as easy as you'd expect. Maybe it just requires a lot of beer.
Dolly Parton - Nine To Five
Duran Duran - Rio
Erasure - A Little Respect Huh? Has anyone ever heard of this band?
Europe - The Final Countdown Na na na naa, na na NANANA
Fairground Attraction - Perfect Fun
Foreigner - I Want To Know What Love Is More fun
Frankie Goes To Hollywood - The Power Of Love I still reckon Huey Lewis should've been on with this one
Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill
Katrina And The Waves - Walking On Sunshine
Madness - Our House So much fun, but tricky when you hit the fast bit
Madonna - Material Girl
Marillion - Kayleigh Again, huh?
Nena - 99 Red Balloons Bonus points if you sing it in German. OK, not really.
Run DMC - It's Tricky It really is
Simple Minds - Don't You (Forget About Me)
Soft Cell - Tainted Love
Starship - We Built This City
Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger YEAH!
Tears For Fears - Everybody Wants To Rule The World Awww
The Cure - Just Like Heaven
The Pretenders - Brass In Pocket
Tina Turner - Simply The Best
Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby ALL rapmeter all the time!
Wham! - Wake Me Up Before You Go Go
I got my best score with Eye of the Tiger, but top score for the night went to Annachop's take on Material Girl that saw her soaring into the ranks of Singstar.
Singstar fans will be familiar with the interface and options from Singstar Pop. The only change seems to be the addition of a mini-game called Sing-Song in which you use the pitch of your voice to control the paddles in a game of Pong.

Great. We'll be getting it on the weekend. Its great fun. I nearly lost my voice trying to scream the Motorace song on one of the earlier versions.
I like more of the songs on this one than either of the others, so I've been looking forward to it.
Agreed with "Rapture" (although "Sunday Girl" with the French bits would be cool too)...
Peeved that 99 Luft Ballons is the stupid "Red" version... Although "Rock Me Amadeus" would better satisfy my need for ridiculous German lyrics...
