How To Become A File Photo Celebrity: Start Early
See that little shit who won't sit still for the camera & needs to be pacified with lollies from mum? That's me. Christmas 1979; the Browne family gathered from around the world. It was the first time in a long time that all 13 children had come together and being a bit of a Dunedin institution, the local paper The Otago Daily Times decided to cover the event. This picture was all of the grandkids and was taken in the Botanical Gardens. How it got linked to this article I don't know. I got the link e-mailed to me today and I thought it freaky enough to share with y'all.
Must-see Movies
This week we'll be watching The Blues Brothers on DVD. This release includes some deleted and extended scenes that weren't included in the theatrical release:
- Elwood quits his job & tells his boss he's going off to become a priest
- The Bluesmobile gets parked next to a high voltage junction (the source of its' "magical" abilities)
- Extended "Boom Boom" sequence where John Lee Hooker argues with the band over who actually wrote the song
