So much for Spring
The BOM issued a severe storm warning just after three in yesterday afternoon. By the time I got home just after five most of Kingston and Manuka had been covered in a blanket of hail stones.
With the cold wind and intermittent rain, conditions have been such that some of the hail is still around today, mostly in the garden beds that don't get much of the weak sunlight. I guess I spoke too soon in heralding the return of Spring to the little capital that could.
